Changing the standard pulley of 76mm diameter for a smaller pulley yields more boost.
The stock 76mm pulley yields about 6-7 psi depending on the dyno operator.
I am currently running the 65mm pulley and getting 10 psi at redline....(10 psi is not recommended for a stock 6G75 engine...I would not go below a 70mm pulley).
It costs around $300 to have a pulley machined from the attached engineering diagram.
I used Robert Lange Engineering in Geelong....they have a billet CNC machine in house.
Here is the info for making a pulley...just vary the diameter to suit.
Also is a picture of the tool needed to remove the pulley from the blower neck.
A 65mm is the smallest pulley that will fit, even then some shaving of the neck with a grinder was required.
You will need to get a smaller 6PK belt...Repco sell them (they are a Gates product)...around $40.
Of course don't even think of adding boost without replacing the 7th injector with a larger one, as mentioned elsewhere on this forum.
