| Since installing a subwoofer to the car, the rear view mirror vibrates very loudly. It's not the fact that it's vibrating that annoys me, it's just the loud and annoying sound that comes with it.
My rear view mirror is not the one that comes with the torx screw on it (can't remember the name of that mirror).
Is there any way of reducing the vibration, or more rather, the sound of the vibration?
All it takes is for me to lightly press my finger on the back of it and it almost stops the vibrations completely. Any other ideas?
I was thinking a few pieces of dynomat on the back of it might help change its resonance frequency, but i really dont know. |

Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | is it the electronic mirror?
I have had the same problem and fixed it just by pulling it apart and reassembling it. |
