Frequent flyer Gold Posts: 1092 Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | Bought this little gem from the salvage auctions yesterday. Undercarriage damage, dunno what they hit but it punctured both head lights...just missing the chassis rails...luckily! Both front wheels got pushed back bending the lower wishbone suspension arms....an easy replacement repair. But...beautiful white/cream leather, sunroof...low mileage engine, full electric seats, bluetooth and 5 stacker CD player. Embarassingly cheap. Frequent flyer Gold Posts: 1092 Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | Air bags weren't deployed in this one so I looked further by removing both guards. Half an hour later with the soldering iron and heatshrink tube she started and runs smooth as silk. The wiper washer area tends to foul the loom almost evry time on these, the loom goes from the drivers side dashboard fuse box-out the drivers side guard-round the front of the car to the ECU's and back in side the other guard to the passenger side dashboard. A loop around the front it seems, probably so airbags work if loom gets cut? Frequent flyer Gold Posts: 1092 Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | Luckily both chassis rails were missed in the collision...much easier to repair than mere wishbone arms. rang around all the wreckers to get arms and Eddy's in Adelaide said just get new ones...about 90 bucks each...sounds good to me... | ||
