Purchased July 2012 63,000 kms, manual gearbox. Standard except for Kings low front springs, now has Galant snorkel fitted, next will be Kings low rears, bigger wheels and brakes.

I would have sent more pics but the site would only let me pick one attachment.
I'm very interested in building a different manual transmission, geared higher and with a LSD.
Anyone with info other than RPW please let me know.

I am already on it mate.

One of my 380's is the manual with sprintex supercharger.

The manual does about 2750rpm at 100km/h...the auto does it at 1800 rpm.

am thinking of just changing 5th cog instead...might be easier....

test of multiple attachments...works for me...but dont use bigger than 500kb...10 megapixels is a no no...

These manuals really go well using 2nd gear for take off, 1st gear is way too low unless you need to tow a semi trailer.
I think a taller diff would be better to keep 5 useful gears

I think a taller diff would be better to keep 5 useful gears



try taking off with 200kw at the wheels like my manual with supercharger.

ist geared stupidly low....I getta get onto it for sure.

In the auto, 1st is only engaged for less than a second.

Digging up an old conversation here, but any further progress on improving the gearing in first for the manual 380?

nah...do the final drive and its better in every gear.

Just fit the magna final drive.
