This is the application software for installation and maintenance of the Sequent 56 LPG kit as well as others.

It requires that you posess the security dongle...which i have.

I forgot to add the utility software for the USB to serial adapter that comes with the kit.

Here it is now...

Hi John

I just got hold of Ver 1.16

Good news - no dongle needed anymore!

I am in fine tuning heaven, after 3 or 4 adjustments my Long term fuel trim has gone form -13% to plus 4% so I am zeroing in!

And (fingers crossed) the lean idle CEL has not re-appeared!

I don't have pinouts but I doubt it would help as cable includes a blackbox with circuitry inside

Lot on eBay

Search BRC sequent cable and depending on whether u want USB or serial etc there is a big choice

eg

I think I have the serial cable and its tx/rx crossed over and ground pin passed through....using xon/xoff protocol.

But a lot of laptops no longer have a serial port.

Back from Xmas trip to BNE and Sunshine Coast. No CEL's

Have now done about 15 iterations of Sequent tuning using the map refining feature. I find I have now, in total, moved the setting -23% from what it was, with result my long term fuel trim (LTFT) as per the petrol ECU now sits at about -2% at 110 kmh cruise control on highway and about +5% around then city.

Much better than the previous LTFT of -14% which was triggering the CELs!

Not sure if I want to fiddle with main LPG ECU map to sort that out!

We did just under 3000 km, with an LPG average of 12.1 l/100k, equivalent to 9.7 l/100k (based on typical LPG/Petrol energy ration of 1.25 - which of course varies a bit depending on local propane/butane proportions in the mix)

Car feels to be running very smoothly - but will monitor a bit more around town and decide if I need to tweak it a little more.
