Weld fall apart?

If its a crack, 2 things.

Headers tend to get hot, Genie Headers told me that headers that crack tend to be on vehicles that are running lean and therefore too hot.

If its just a crack on a weld that was not done well or fatigued and not related to running lean, either get a torque strap to stop the engine moving, check your engine mounts for cracks/breakages (as yours is producing bucket loads of torque that goes straight through the mounts) or get a flex join on the extractors that allows the engine and headers to move without bending the exhaust system.

I love this modification.

Just align them to the washer nozzles and no severe structural cutting...also it's perfectly located to cool the blower.

Just be careful that it clears the strut brace though!

Well when you put bonnet scoops on a 380 the strut brace doesn't quite clear the sloping scoop bottoms, and with the torque of the motor the supercharger ocassionally banged on the TMR supplied strut brace.

Decided to have one custom made.

20mm thick steel...LOL...and clear of the blower so it can move up and down a bit.

Here is the result, Jennings Custom steel fabricators made it up for me from scratch.

$250 for a one off...not bad i thought (TMR asking about 5-600 dollars )

It's a lot shinier in high res or real life...but had to resize the photo to fit the forum.

They actually resprayed bonnet and both guards when they put the scoops in...(two coats of orange metallic base and a clear coat)
