Installed a reverse camera rear-view mirror (has very strong clips to clip onto the existing rear-view mirror). $50 delivered straight from China. First impressions are very good. Works exactly as needed (improves rear-view vision greatly over the already cramped vision of the 380). Wide 120ish angle and the image is more than clear enough in day-time and night. Simple and easy. Turns on when the car is in reverse gear, turns off otherwise and drains no power. The "mirror" functionality is slightly darker than a normal mirror but works perfectly fine. Its actually even better than my stock mirror (non chromatic mirror) as the darker nature of it reduces glare from headlights at night. Perfect! (for me). It has 7 IRs built into the camera to provide solid night vision. Camera is also anti-fog and waterproof (at least that's what it says on the packaging... time will tell. Its holding up fine after a few car washes). Excuse the night picture below, it looks washed out due to camera flash and the contrast is much better in real life (the picture was taken at night with no lighting other than the camera's IR lights on). I could have got a CCD camera vs only a CMOS, but honestly I don't need some HD camera to make out objects as they are already clear enough. Finer details would be a luxury and certainly not a need for its purpose. (DSC_29gg83.jpg) (DSC_2969.jpg) (DSC_2970.jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]()

Unfortunately its the best I could do. There is no white glare surrounding the screen image in real life and you can make out the details much better (i.e. the tree and car) than the way it appears in the photo. This is an unfortunate effect of taking photos of LCD screens ![]()

Frequent flyer Silver Posts: 62 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi All, Just wondering if anyone on the forums has direct experience with the IMPCO-BRC Sequent 56 LPG system? I'm looking at possibly getting this installed on my 380 (pending compatibility). Would there be noticeable performance loss while using LPG? Or is it smart enough to combat any performance loss by switching to petrol at higher revs etc? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is fantastic...just get it...it works brilliantly in a 380. I even had it supercharged in my GT a few years back. Have a look at the head on your motor...just near the top of the oil dipstick. If there are 3 holes...1 then two close together then your head is LPG compatible. If not doesn't matter.

BUT...it will NOT start if you run out of petrol, it protects the valves etc by always starting on petrol until engine warms up. also...if you boot the accelerator it will switch back to petrol for maximum horsepower. they thought of everything.

If they won't just take it to Impco direct....in fact just take it to impco and get a better job done...I did
