Hi guys,

Anyone tried installing a chromatic mirror into their 380? I have an SX so was looking to get one installed...
I understand there's a chance you can crack your windscreen during installation. Anyone got any experience in this area?

No worries. Why does the chromatic mirror suck? Seems like an awesome and useful piece of technology ??

Thats pretty disappointing. I thought the whole point of a chromatic mirror was to ensure you DON'T get blinded

Do you find it useful Fooz? I.e. when you get that initial annoying glare in the rear view when cars have high beams or badly adjusted lights, does the mirror adjust promptly?

Might get one installed but there's a risk of cracking windscreen during Installation so I have to weigh it up.

Thanks

I find mine works too well - seems to dark for me and I switch it off quite often - old eyes I guess

Has anyone found a way to make it default off rather than default on?

It would suit me better if it were like cruise control and 'remembered' how you last left it set!

Sounds like a fairly finicky piece of technology, probably more trouble than its worth. I think I'll just stick with reaching up and flipping the mirror

Cheers guys
