hey thanks mate, have sent your tune to the guys to look at.

I assume you don't have the drive by wire throttle implemented?

Finally.....

I think this is some very special news.

Today...a 380 VRX manual is running 100% with a Link ECU controlling both fuel and timing.

We can advance it or fuel it any way we like...no CEL's...cruise control and drive by wire is 100% operational.

Pics tomorrow....

This is a significant leap forward.

Saw the car today in berwick and had a nice long acceptance drive.

Could not fault the ECU work.

It revs forever now and there is no road speed limiter.

It idles great as well....in fact quieter than any 380 I have ever driven.

this is now going to the next stage, a significant hurdle has been overcome.

Just spoke to Justin...the man..

I can do anything in terms of tuning on the black VRX mule...it's ready for pickup...

My 380GT is booked in for the mother of all conversions on Wednesday.

(a) twin garett turbos
(b) custom manifolds and exhaust
(c) ECu, dyno,tune
(d) fuel pump,injectors,lah lah lah
(e) intercooler...custom

and god knows what else.

I'll be driving the black VRX for a couple of months....might put the spare blower on it...manual with blower...yep.

Progress so far has been me driving the Black Vrx as a daily driver sorting out software and tuning/driveability bugs.

-the cruise control wouldn't work under 70km/h and drove the DBW throttle crazy with P2135 check code.
-o2 sensor errors due to running on pure map tune and open loop o2 config....fitting a wide band permenantly for real time tuning as well.
-pushing clutch in and revs stayed at 3000 rpm when on 100km/h...even with no cruise, clutch and brake switches now I/O triggered on a port to switch map tunes
-cold idle was hunting 700-1300 rpm on 9 degree mornings until water temp exceeded 70 degrees...now fixed.
-knock sensor fitment this week, as quoted and ommitted....

The Gt is just sitting in the shed with stock exhaust, LPG kit removed, supercharger removed etc...ready to go as soon as VRX confirmed bug free.

Should be proceeding with the twin turbo, custon manifolds, twin Garretts etc next week.

It has been nearly a year to sort out the ECU....I hate Bosch....

Oh..I also hate changing gears, have been going insane in peak hour traffic with this Black car...give me an auto 380 any day...LOL

It all slipped another week....I need to be 100% happy with the ECU config.

Nearly there...nearly there....

Had a wideband O2 sensor fitted in place of the stock upstream sensor (before the cats).

The Link Ecu now runs in closed loop mode, precisely monitoring the air fuel ratio and learning on the fly.

To emulate a connected O2 sensor to keep the stock ECU happy requires 12v ----100ohm resistor---schottky diode to ground.

This simulates a 0.55v reference to ground....otherwise the stock ecu throws a wobbly.

11 months so far to get this ECU sorted.....nearly there...maybe Friday...

Went to the workshop today.

The GT is on the hoist having the front turbo fitted and manifolds in a mock up to be fabricated this week.

Will not be long now at all.

Hopefully by Xmas I will have a 300+ kw monster.

Shit I miss driving my GT with auto...shit I hate changing gears manually in the Black VRX always spinnning the first 3 gears since the supercharger was fitted....
