I have started this thread for reporting on the success of the mods to the 380 ECU by comrage Stayer.

Today i posted a fully working 380 ECU to Stayer as a guinea pig to evaluate it.

Will post in this thread all about my experiences.

If successful will offer to members as an exchange service.

What sort of things can he achieve with the Bosch unit?

It will be so. I have the following (standard reflash):
1)Disable the rear oxygen sensors. This will allow you to remove cats, install optimized exhaust manifolds. Eliminate errors on oxygen sensors.
2) Programmatically connect the power mode. What is it? This mode is configured factory engineers, but disabled. This is done to implement the environmental standards. However, as ride a horse which has a broken leg?
3) I will remove the speed limit. It cannot be turned off completely, but you can set the limit of 500 km/H.
4) Optimization of fuel injection and ignition advance angle.
5) for more your wishes......

Forgot to add. Usually, after the reflash occurs reduced fuel consumption.

If this trial is successful I will offer an exchange service for members here.

stayer mentioned that after a reflash the immobiliser is reset...i.e your key doesn't work.

so.....

you send me one of your ignition keys and I match it up to the ecu with the mut3 ...so should just be plug and go.

that's the theory...LOL

Update the theme. I received a parcel from Australia. It was long. I'll start right now.

Stayer I have given you access to the area of the forum where the service manuals are.

You will find the 380 service manual there.

It has the electrical diagrams in the manual

Find the manual here.......

This large amount of information. I found only one page 13A - 645. However, this is not enough (not all contacts). If you know the page with the ECU pinout, let me know.
