      Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | These are failing frequently.
Front windows fail by staying up.
Dealer replacement in about an hour under warranty...if they have the parts.
Rear windows drop down into the door...and sometimes break.
In an emergency pull them up by hand and tape them tup till you get to a dealer.
Both replacement part numbers are from the US galant version...seem to be stronger. |

| What actually fails, motor, mechanism?
What is the difference with the ones from the US Gallant, whats stronger?
Sounds like the actual mechanism failing or coming apart. |
