Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | Been annoying me having to constantly clip the side cover to the drivers' seat every week.
So found that installing a self taper screw into this location firms it up to the point where it doesnt come off.
You can paint it black with a permanent marker if you prefer, it holds it nice and tight.

Location: An island off southern Tasmania. | With that cover after a while it breaks the little flimsy plastic eye at the front and is impossible to retain, only solution is a new cover...and pricey.
have a look at it and you'll soon see that if you accidentally catch it with your leg it will destroy the retainer, and the replacement is no better.
