Anyone have an idea on the labour cost( ballpark) would be for pulling off supercharger , manifold and smt6 box and replacing it with another, and maybe at the same time replace injector seals and spark plugs, any info would be great

The SMT6 is accessed by removing the glovebox compartment...it is in the left hand guard with a cable tie holding it in...it just unplugs.

Allow 3-4 hours for all the other stuff.

More if the mechanic is inexperienced.

Injector seals take about 20-30 minutes...but custom plenum has to be removed to access the back 3 injectors.

Plugs take about 15 minutes once plenum is removed.

If replacing supercharger I would always replace plugs.

Injector seals are dead easy...they are just a ring of material that slides off.

I would get a Ralliart dealer to do it.

update on the supercharger, get the new supercharger kit, injector seals replaced if needed and throw in some Iriway plugs , guy said it will be an 8 hr job ( 1 day) and approx $900 , week after next, bit steep but it could have been worse, cop the cost of the SC kit as well

I have done it 4 times now, practice makes perfect.

the most time consuming bit is wiring in the ecu....and I didn't do any of that.

undo plenum, remove engine mount, undo 4 bolts holding blower on, undo fuel line, intake and thats it.

half a dozen plenum bolts and it just pops off with the plenum.

10mm, 12mm, 14mm and 17mm sockets required.
