Simply fire up the software with a laptop comport connected to the SMT6.

Only pins 2 and 3 are required to be connected, it uses XON/XOFF RS232 protocol.
Pin 5, the ground is also connected.
So...a 3 wire rs232 cable.

Refer to the SMT6 manual.

Fire up the application software for windows XP, hover the mouse over the RPM menu bar....press and hold the right mouse button for 10 seconds and a pop up menu will appear asking if you want to UNLOCK.

A dialogue box should pop up asking you if you want to clear the contects.

That's it..no need to buy an unlocked SMT6.

It will wipe all the screens if you unlock.

You will need to enter the following screens manually....your car will not run properly until you do.

The following screens are as delivered with a stock TMR380 Sprintex kit from TMR.

after you make the changes on the screens you have to say you want to save it to the ecu, cause it doesnt save to ecu by default.

You will find it under the file menu.

You do know that you can drive around and alter the map settings in real time don't you?

If you have an assistant it will highlight the exact map cell on the tune that matches your speed, revs, etc and you can tweak it with instant results....

better than a dyno....but be careful..full throttle can be daunting while operating a laptop...LOL

Bear in mind what you are doing here...we are only talking about the 7th injector enrichment...not the main injectors.

Thanks for that, much appreciated, i noticed Foozcool , ithink thats how its spelt, has replaced the 7th injector for water \meth injection and uped the size of the main injectors , does this make for a better setup? oh yeah, one thing i was going to ask you ,have you saved you map to file at all, would be easier to do it that way if you have as punching all the settings manualy takes a bit????

I tried...but when you try to use it on another copy of the software it doesnt take it.

Probably why sprintex only gave us photos of the screens as well.

It's only 10 minutes work...dead easy.

Rob aka Fooz has a different piggyback ECU so meth injection supported.
