Hi Stas

I have LPG. Does this mean your modifications will allow the ECU to adapt timing etc to suit 114 Octane rating of LPG, thus allowing more aggressive ignition timing etc?

Yes, LPG is a very good result. In Russia many people who have LPG, made a reflash. Mostly we use gas equipment of Italian companies (fourth generation). Of course firmware for LPG is slightly different from a gasoline. In General, however, they are the same.

I tried the reflashed ECU in my GT today.

There must be an incompatibility because it sounded like it was misfiring constantly.

An unmodified ECU works perfectly however.

Dunno...but can't use it, maybe it has gone faulty?

^^^ Judging by the video does not work one cylinder. Check the connections at the ignition coils. Reflash makes no changes to the order of the cylinder. On the other car and it works. Look for the cause in the engine.
First, define a cylinder does not work. To do so, during idling, alternately disconnect the ignition coil. Do not worry, nothing will burn and not be worse. Working cylinders will reduce momentum when disconnecting. Not working cylinder will not give the change of revolutions. Next, remove the spark plug. Possible send photos. Recommend to conduct the test compression. Name the figures of compression in the cylinders. Next on the circumstances.

I did many tests, I put in stock ecu it works perfect, I put in reflashed and it misses one cylinder....I do it all 3 times and same result.

Like I said, maybe the ecu has gone faulty.

Or maybe because this is a turbo car with Link G4 ecu and bigger injectors etc that it doesn't like it.

Anyway, it doesn't matter because this car uses just one wideband oxygen sensor and other four are disconnected.

No need to check compression on motor, it is a new forged engine with 8.5 compression ratio etc.

I just wanted to test rpm maximum and speed limiter maximum.

I would strongly recommend you to test compression. Engine after bulkhead may show very different results. This is for your peace of mind. You understand me? Also this test you check the quality of the engine Assembly. It's not long. After that everything will fall into place.

By the way, for turbo engine this firmware does not work. For it will be very lean AFR. However, if it is idling, all cylinders should work. So I have, and the question arose as cylinders. Check for your own peace of mind.

I tested it, it stops oxygen sensor check lights.

I could not see any other change in terms of anything else, so I decided that it was too expensive for just that.

To use it to tune would require an extraordinary amount of t0 and fro due to Stayer locking it up as tight as a fishes arse.

It would be going from a locked Bosch solution to a locked Stayer solution...no gain.

In was hoping that the road speed limiter was disabled and the rpm limiter disabled...but nope...

Real Pity...but something will come along soon enough....other people are working on it.
