Does anyone know if this navigation unit will fit in our 380? and how hard it is to find it from overseas?

I'd love to add this rather than changing the head unit to an aftermarket one with GPS

the other potential problem is the maps...most likely will only have north america and canada maps...?

This will work 100%. I set myself such. At first I had a simple monitor. Then I installed the monitor from the Australian 380. Then I set the 7" monitor. It all works. Only required for the connection of 2 extra wires on the back side. Also, read navigational charts required Navi unit. Now, watch this video. This is the monitor itself and Navi unit. I bought this on eBay for $ 800.

Navi unit sold disk maps for America and Canada. Navigation maps also no problem. I downloaded the map on the Internet for Pajero 4. Then he recorded the disc. Navi unit is located in the boot. Disk set only 1 time.
If you install Navi unit, this allows you to set the video. Without Navi unit start the video will not work.

Thanks for the information Styer, but what I'm really after is the dashboard top cover because the navigation/screen unit you can easily fit one like the one in the eBay link you gave us

Anyway found one from USA selling it at USD$955 for the hole lot, I'm gonna see if I can get only the cover off him.

I've driven one in the US with it and I am not sure I liked it as much as the one in my GT....
