Transmission re-learn procedure

This is the method to make your transmission get that silky smooth shift back as it had when it was new. First...forget about disconnecting the battery...it does not clear the auto relearn...it has been proven. to store on an EEprom. (forget the Magna advice some people give...it's not gunna work like a Magna) You need to get a MUT3 dealer tool and go to the auto subsection and select custom menu then "clear all learned values." on the transmission menu. If you don't have access to one it seriously is worth paying a dealer to do it. then drive away and do the following... Start the car and let it warm up. From park, shift to neutral, wait 5 seconds then go to drive wait 5 seconds and repeat about 5 times minimum. that neutral to reverse at 5 seconds in each state as well...5 times minimum. Don't switch off the car. Now put in drive and let car slowly get from 1,2,3,4,5th gear with light throttle. Gently come to a complete stop on a level road. repeat 5 times. All the shift solenoids will be perfectly calibrated as will the drive and reverse valves. I thought there was a way to do it by connecting different pins in the connector with a paperclip and whatnot? Or perhaps that was for reprogramming keys. Trust me...it is a HUGE difference...when done.
