Nothing left to do on this car except maybe clean the leather and shampoo the carpets.

I'll let the new owner do all that shit.

Today I replaced both front wheel bearing hubs, amazing how much quieter the car is at 100km/h now...like new.

Also the driver's door electric mirror wouldn't work....pulled the door trim off and you wouldn't believe it...IT HAD NEVER BEEN PLUGGED IN AT THE FACTORY!

The seal was still on the plug and the wire loomed with a small cable tie.

Plugged it in and she works like a charm.

That is the first factory quality issue I have seen.

Anyway took this GTL to Impco and got them to put in the LPG kit from my GT that was pulled out last year.
Impco are a great company, $1200 bucks and they reinstalled all the bits that I delivered in a plastic crate.

Paul at Impco (who did my supercharged LPg tune a while back) said he gave it a free new wiring loom just cause it looked better.

They are a great company, unfortunately like most auto businesses they are experiencing a big downturn.
Still...I buy Australian whenever I can and that includes LPG installations.

Finally after a wash I put her into Bay #3 where she will sit quietly waiting for the new owner.

fantastic car...really did not want to let this one go......

Hi bro, thinking of getting factory alloys for this one need vin to check prices. Looks better with original alloys I think!

You have rocks in your head...will cost a bloody fortune for stock alloys.

This VIN will however work in your quest

Just got home at Sunshine Coast the car ran beautifully and the wife and kids love the new GTL .

Great car great to drive.

Fuel Economy gas 516.7kms for 57 litres of gas.
Petrol 8.2 litres per 100kms on freeway.

Very reasonable economy.

What was that tint you suggested?
By the way I have detailed the car. Except carpets. It is pouring with rain here! When it stops I will post some photos!

Go to a company called "Tint-A-Car"

ask for the Midnight Express.

That is the best in my opinion.

Don't do the sunroof...

I re-sized the 10 giga pixel pics you uploaded to a sensible size for forums ( one megapixel maximum).

You can always tell an apple mac user...

The tint looks great...Hope your family are happy with it.

now just drive it and don't spend any more money on accessories for it...

It's got everything you need in a very comfortable luxury car package...doesn't need a single thing more...not even floor mats

For those who aren't aware...this man also has a very rare Magna.

The dedicated TW magna LPG model that mitsubishi made for a WA govt contract.

Now he has two very rarely seen Mitsubishis.

Nice work..

Just cleaned the leather seats on GTL which are cream using a product called Leathertech worked really well and a must for your leather suits. Like new. Can buy at Harvey Norman. Two in one formula is the best...about $40 try it with your seats. Mine are looking great..

Thanks for the tip...mine all have black leather so don't notice the dirt as much as the cream I reckon.

Glad you are happy with the car.

I can understand. This is the first GTL I've ever seen.

What sets it apart from the normal GT other than the letter L??

Edit: wow just saw it has the cream seats. Looks very nice inside

I love the GTL model of 380's.....a bit of history and a rant?

We have two in the family this one and the other one shown on the forum in members area...

anyway, wife's brother worked as an engineer at the factory, because of that family members could get company cars on his sal;ary sacrifice...so... I was getting a lease 380 for 100 dollars a week all expenses paid.

When it got 7000 k's on the clock I would take it to nearest dealer and get a new one with zero k's again...over and over and over...

One Gt I put 7000k's in 2 months...LOL

Did that for nearly 10 years with magnas and 380's...had every possible model, verada, sports, Gt, GTL, VRX...dedicated gas etc.

When we put 7000 k's on them we were offered first pick to buy them as "executive driven"...

The GT was 44000 new...after I put 7000 k's on it I was offered it for $22500....shit the Satnav option was 4500 bucks!

You can understand why I bought every family member one...and always with all the options like sunroof, satnav, towbar etc.

The last 380 I got was a GTL on the day the factory announced closure...I had just driven it home...had 80 kilometres on the clock and was told I could have it without putting 7000 k's on it.

But it went to an 85 year old family member as it wasn't suited for twin turbos....LOL

Very cool. You're lucky to have such a great model of car so readily available! Very lucky indeed.
