Has anyone experienced a creaking sound from the sunroof area whilst driving on uneven ground like turning into asteep driveway or driving off a gutter, wondering if maybe the sunroof mounting points need nipped up a bit, any suggestions?

I don't know what kind of a noise your sunroof. However, my old 9G, too, was a creak. I used the silicone lubricant for rubber. The creaking disappears for about 6 - 8 months, then the process repeats itself. Can you it will help...

I have a similar noise from the rear which I cant pinpoint. Have ruled out all the usual stuff. Its like a plasticy crack/knock sound. I thought at first it might be the rear bumper flexing but it only happens when I turn into my driveway ( or someone elses) which has a bit of a rise or a dip. Your comments about the sunroof has made me want to investigate that area.

Yeah , mine definatley is coming from the sunroof area, i thought about tightening the nuts that hold it in but maybe ill leave it for the dealer to fiddle with since its still under warranty, its not really a massive problem , just annoying sometimes.

Mine is out of warranty but I would be interested as to what your dealer finds and what they do to fix it.
I agree it is annoying. Does it do it when the roof is open?. I must try that tomorrow and see if there is a difference. Cheeers

I drove home with roof open and thought it was gone but as soon as I turned into my drive away it went.It definitely seems more body/plasticy than metal

My brother in law had his windscreen replaced due to creaks...was very hard to isolate, don't forget the glass is structural on these.

Do a test...open it fully and do the same experiment.

If you remove the sunroof completely does it still creak?

Got the TMR back from the dealer today, what a waste of time, they said they tigtened up the sunroof and took i for a drive but couldnt get it to creak, and for the second time they ordered the wrong part for the supercharger belt tensioner which is RS apparently, ill have to take it to the proper ralliart mitsubishi dealer, i just thought taking it to my local one would suffice, obviously not, Zupps mitsubishi aspley qld, dont go there,i should have known

I'm not sure that it is my sunroof it now seems as though the rear screen is 'flexing'. Seems to happen on moving off or first reverse in morning. Hardly a sound for remaining day but creaks again on left turn into driveway. Very annoying
